CRAIG CAMPBELL ALBUM IN STORES TODAY
EARLY REVIEWS FOR “FAMILY MAN” DEBUT ALBUM OVERWHELMINGLY POSITIVE

Nashville, TN…(April 5, 2011)…”Family Man” Craig Campbell’s self-titled debut hits stores today and the album is already garnering rave reviews.

Here’s what some of the nation’s toughest critics are saying about Craig Campbell:

People Magazine:
“On a winning country debut, this Georgian displays a rich baritone and a witty way with a pen on tunes like the sly “I Bought It” and the suggestive “Fish.” Elsewhere songs such as the ballad single “Family Man” will hit you right at home.” ★★★

USA Today:
“Campbell’s baritone Georgia drawl gives him away from the very first line…his stories do the talking, with broad humor and vivid details.”

Associated Press:
“He’s got a strong voice, a straightforward, communicative style, and a lyric (one of nine songs he co-wrote) detailing a real-life situation.”

Country Weekly:
“The easygoing authenticity of this well-crafted album will likely appeal to most any female real-deal country fan—if she doesn’t mind the motor-oil smudges on the CD case.” ★★★

Washington Post:
“An unapologetic heir to the buttoned-down neo-traditionalism of Alan Jackson and George Strait, Craig Campbell sings in a rich, unhurried baritone and favors gimmick-free arrangements that feature swinging twin fiddles and careening steel guitar.”

The remainder of the jam-packed album launch week will include headlining concert appearances in San Jose, CA (4/5); Bakersfield, CA (4/6); Florence, AZ/Country Thunder USA Festival (4/7); and Henderson, NV (4/8).   Beginning in May, Craig can be found on the road with Willie Nelson and the Country Throwdown Tour.

The project is produced by Keith Stegall and features 11 songs, including 9 that are co-written by Craig.  A deluxe version of the album is available at iTunes and features two bonus tracks plus the “Family Man” music video and a digital booklet.

ABOUT CRAIG CAMPBELL: After moving from his hometown of Lyons, Georgia to Nashville in 2002 to pursue his country music dreams, Craig Campbell quickly picked up work as a keyboardist in Luke Bryan and Tracy Byrd’s bands and was later discovered playing a regular gig at legendary Nashville honky-tonk, The Stage. Campbell’s debut single, “Family Man,” is climbing the country radio charts. The song can be found on his debut album, available wherever music is sold.  To learn more about Craig, visit www.craigcampbell.tv and follow him on Twitter @craigcampbelltv.
