PHIL VASSAR HELPS RAISE OVER $100,000 FOR THE MILLER HOME

NASHVILLE, TN (April 13, 2011) –  Phil Vassar, with the help of his friends and fellow country group Little Big Town, played to a sold out crowd last Thursday in Lynchburg, VA at the third annual benefit concert for the Miller Home raising funds and awareness for the organization.  Together they raised over $100,000 for the Miller Home, a safe haven for young girls ages four through eighteen which survives solely on private funding.

“This event just keeps getting more and more amazing each year,” states Stacy Garrett, Executive Director of the Miller Home. “There are no words to describe how blessed and special these girls feel because of Phil and his friends.  We at the Miller Home are truly grateful.”

In addition to a concert, Phil also offered two private dinners with him at his Nashville home both selling for over $10,000.  All proceeds and donations go directly to the Miller Home of Lynchburg.
